The Zaltys Evaluation Platform allows direct evaluation of Zaltys cores at relatively high data & symbol rates. The board is supplied with a baseband expansion port that allows customers to add their own additional custom functionality to the board.

The board uses Xilinx Virtex-4 technology, and can be fitted with custom daughterboard’s to extend its functionality. It connects to a PC via a USB or serial port, allowing easy interfacing with the ZEDwire Communicator software.
